Licensing

We have a range of licensing and pricing models to assist organisations of all sizes, tailor a solution to their budget, needs and in-house information technology hardware, software and experience. We also offer custom programming solutions to model specific business rules or reporting and analysis, so users can get maximum leverage from Decimalware.

In terms of licensing, our most popular model is based on a rental arrangement, including hosting and maintenance, more commonly referred to as Software-as-a-Service or SaaS. We can negotiate a fixed term agreement with monthly, quarterly or annual payment options to maximise your organisations cash flow. We host your application, maintain the hardware and software, run routine, nightly back ups with off-site storage, and roll up the latest edition as the latest functionality is available.

For the more advanced organisations, we are also happy to negotiate outright license purchases, hosting options and ongoing maintenance provisions to truly deliver the right fit for your organisation.

In the multi-tenant, decimal.sport edition, we can also tailor the funding model for each tier in the application.

Software-as-a-Service

Software-as-a-Service

Software-as-a-Service, or SaaS, is an outsourcing model that can be thought of as a subscription to a product. The product is the software and hosting platform combined.

SaaS can assist an organisation by giving them the option of not committing to expensive in-house Information Technology staff, communications infrastructure, servers and software. An additional benefit of subscribing to these services is cash flow is better controlled.

The SaaS model delivers:
» Subscription license for Decimalware
» Hosting
» Back up and monitoring
» Regular updates as new functionality is introduced
» Flexible terms

Other Licensing Options

For organisations that want full control of their Information Technology resources or have specific requirements, we welcome the opportunity to negotiate outright license purchases, hosting options and ongoing maintenance provisions to deliver the optimal solution.

In multi-tenant installations, for example the decimal.sport edition, we can license each organisation independently and at differing levels of functionality and support.
